He hails from an agricultural family of Gudekote village in kudligi Taluk. After his L.L.B., and enrollment, he joined Sri. n. Thippnna’s chamber during august 1962 and practiced for 3 years at Bellary. Thereafter he setup his independent practice at Kudligi and established a flourishing practice. Ha was ordained for higher success and joined the judicial service as Amunsiff and stepped up the ladder to become the district judge and served as such at various places before being elevated as judge of the honorable high court of Karnataka. He also served as such in the vigilance department of the high court of Karnataka a Curtious and a soft spoken man. His humane approach to the Couse of justice was were well appreciated both by the bench and the bar and a special mention was made of his Qualitices in the farewell address of the bench and as well advocate’s association prior to his retirement. He was always helpful to the junior members and after retirement, he keeps himself active by serving as an arbitrator. He was the first member of our association to be elevated as judge of the honourable high court of Karnataka.
