He was born on 2^nd May, 1954 at Nideban Village, Bhalki Taluk in Bidar District. He had His Schooling at the Government Primary School, Bhalki, the Karnataka High School Bidar, He did His Bachelor of Arts at B.V. College, Bidar and Thereafter. He did His L.L.B., at the Renuka Charya Law College at Bangalore. He Enrolled Himself as An Advocate of The High Court of Bangalore Durinr April 1982. He joined the Chambers of Justice Shivaraj Patil in the year 1980 When His Lordship Was Practicing as an Advocate at Bangalore. He Continued in the Chamber Till 1990 and Thereafter Started his Independent Practice at Bangalore. He Represented The Bangalore Development Authority, Gulbarga Development Authority, Bangalore and Gulbarga Universities, Vishveswaraiah Technology, Belgaum, Indian Petro Chemicals Limited, Baroda and Syndicate Bank, as a Standing Counsel. He Practiced on The Civil, Criminal, Labour, Tax and Company Matters. He Was Trained Also Under V.S. Malimath and justice. S. Rajendra Babu. He was First Appointed as a judge of the Honourable High Court of Karnataka on 11^th December 2000 and became a Permanent judge on 18-4-2002. He Took Charge as the Administrative judge for Bellary District. It is Due to His Support and Encouragement the Centenary Celebrations of the Bellary Bar Association Have Gained Momentum and Culminated in Grand Success. Due to His Efforts, the Honourable judges of the Supreme Sourt and the High Courts Have Attended the Celebrations in a Glittering Ceremony on 29^th and 30^th march 2003.
